To Change or Not to Change…

“Don’t change for anyone,” is a statement worth digging into. It’s a phrase both bold and selfish. It implies an unchanging resilient nature that pushes against social confines or even group think. On the other hand the phrase implies stagnation. Is it so unheard of to want to change for someone else, but more importantly, for one’s self? People can sometimes help shape you into a better version of yourself. So, the statement, “don’t change for anyone,” can be a slippery slope whether or not metamorphosis will take root.
