Crystal Clear

Look at the morning view from my cabin, isn’t she gorgeous? It’s me and her most days and I love her more at this time of the year. She’s calm and peaceful. She’s my retreat when I’m away from the grind. I’ve been putting serious thought into just giving it all up, city life and making a way of life here in the middle of nowhere. I wouldn’t want for nothing, even know how to build thanks to my ole man. Not long ago, for the first time, I came face to face with a mountain lion, thought she was going to rip my face off. But she was real nice, even let me rub her head. Odd for a wild animal. My heart was racing like I’d run a 5K marathon but the rush of nature in my hands was priceless. Yeah, I think I just may throw caution to the wind and live nomadic, become one with nature and see what she has to offer, and what I’ve been missing.
