Misery Has No Companion

The last time I saw him was when he turned his back to me as I watched him walk away. I’ll never know what made him leave, but I’ve made the decision to go as well. This city is a shell, void of its heart without him. I hope he suffers at least a day without me. Otherwise, what was it all for?
